Kendra Sorenson:
Kendra has always been a very, for lack of better words, PERFECT. She starts out as a timid 13 year old who is obligated to go to her rarely seen grandparent's estate. Kendra soon realizes the secrets of Fablehaven and learns she must grow up faster than she thought to save her family and the whole magical preserve! With the help of fairies, she becomes a powerful being and continues to help the magical world through out all of the books.
Seth Sorenson:
Seth is a very curious young boy. He loves to explore and loves action...even if that action gets him confined to his room for a day durring his first stay at Fablehaven. Seth is always underappreciated and never thought of as brave or helpful. Even though some of his methods aren't the best, Seth gives 110% but nothing in return. This leads to him hiding out in a knapsack in the fourth book.
Stan Sorenson:
Stan is the current caretaker of Fablehaven. He is very protective of the children at the start, but then lightens up on the secrets and goings of the magical world. Stan is hurt a lot through out the book but still manages to keep everyone in line and make sure that the deeds against the Society are carried out.
Ruth Sorenson:
Ruth is not mentioned too much in the start of the first book because she is...well...a chicken. But, that doesn't stop her from becoming Super Grandma and saving the day. Through out the books, Ruth manages to make deals with creatures and educate the children while still protecting them and helping out with the dirty work.
